Eldcastle houses a plethora of facilities, from forges where adventurers and staff may mend their weapons from adventures past, to the Guild Hall with all its splendor of past and recent glory. For all intents and purposes, Eldcastle can act as a self-sufficient small town for the adventurers that call it home, and the wandering travelers that pass through to rest.
